This course provides a foundation in Lean principles and practices that refocuses your organization on the true meanings of waste in the eyes of your customers. They are applicable every day to any role within a business and are appropriate in any industry. From manufacturing and private-sector businesses to public service organizations, LEAN programs are great team activities that are always insightful.

Main Goal:

• Students will grasp a wide variety of Lean concepts,
• Students gain knowledge on the value of Lean, including Lean origins and principles
• Defining value-added activities
• Learn about the “8 forms of waste.”
• Learning to plan a guided Kaizen event.

Achievement:

• Students completing this training program will obtain a certificate for “Successfully Completed Lean Principles.”
